There was nothing but respect between the Toronto Raptors and Kawhi Leonard after their first matchup on Monday night in the Los Angeles Clippers’ Staples Center. Shortly after the final buzzer, Leonard made his way over to the Raptors’ end of the court for his share of embraces. But along with possession of the ball, Leonard hit Anunoby in the face. Pressuring him with high double teams, the Raptors forced Leonard to get rid of the ball. But that’s not what’s important for the Los Angeles native.
