Sullinger was injured in the Raptors’ first pre-season game, when a member of the Golden State Warriors stepped on his foot. But even the Toronto Raptors’ six-foot-nine, 240-pound power forward can’t play when his baby toe is injured. Rookie power forward Pascal Siakam started the Raptors’ final three pre-season games and could get the start for Sullinger on Wednesday. After signing as a free-agent two summers ago from Atlanta, Carroll missed much of last season dealing with a knee injury. Sullinger signed a one-year, $6-million (U.S.) deal with the Raptors, with the hope that he could turn a good season here into a longer-term deal with a team, the way that Bismack Biyombo did last season with the Raptors.
