Raptors’ Serge Ibaka hit with a three-game ban for his fisticuffs with Cleveland’s Marquese Chriss
The Raptors forward was suspended for three games by the NBA for his part in a Monday night punch-throwing incident with Marquese Chriss of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Referee Marat Kogut directs the Raptors’ Serge Ibaka to the bench after he fought with Marquese Chriss on Monday night. Chriss looked down at Ibaka and seemingly had something to say to the Raptors veteran. It is the third suspension for a physical on-court confrontation that Ibaka has been hit with in two-and-a-half seasons with Toronto. He was previously suspended one game each time for trying to fight Chicago’s Robin Lopez and Miami’s James Johnson.
