Toronto rapper Nav is the third big act to adjust his local concert schedule to get out of the Raptors’ way — but this time, it’s his own idea. Unlike Carrie Underwood or Twenty One Pilots, who had to reschedule and cancel, respectively, their shows at the Scotiabank Arena owing to the local team’s hosting of NBA Finals games, Nav was slated to play Echo Beach. But the gig’s date was Monday, June 10 — the same night that the Raptors will play the Golden State Warriors in Toronto in Game 5.
