After leaving that job, he started driving a car, sharing rides through ride-share app Uber. On April 23, he picked up the girl in his car and took her to an isolated place near Agrabad Jamboree Field where he raped her in the car twice. After being informed, the girl's brother-in-law took her home where she committed suicide on April 24. The girl's sister filed a case afterwards, accusing Badsha of provoking the girl to commit suicide.
