There are technically three modes the Switch operates in: TV, handheld and tabletop, and different controller configurations to go along with each of those. The Pro Controller is decent. TV Mode With Joy-Con GripHere’s something weird: I actually like the Joy-Con Grip controller more than I do the Pro controller. Tabletop Mode With Pro/Grip ControllerWhile I like the Switch in both TV and handheld mode, I really, really do not like the Switch in tabletop mode. Other than that, I have been pleasantly surprised by handheld mode and the Joy-Con grip, and disappointed by tabletop mode.
