Sindh Rangers on Monday claimed to have arrested five accused, including a diesel smuggler during different targeted raids in the metropolis. According to Rangers spokesperson, a Rangers team carried out a targeted raid near Hamdard University and seized 25,000 liters of smuggled Iranian diesel from a tanker-truck, with registration number TUD-120. The diesel was concealed in specially designed hidden cavities of the truck. Separately, receiving information about extortionists a Rangers party arrested four alleged extortionists, Muhammad Fasial, Muhammad Amir, Sajid Ali and Muhammad Ramzan. The arrested accused were handed over to the police for further legal formalities, said a statement.
