The club announced on Tuesday evening that Rodgers would join Leicester after ex-Foxes boss Claude Puel was sacked on Sunday. The former Liverpool manager was given permission by Celtic to speak to the Premier League club, and it seems that the lure of England’s top flight was too much to turn down. Celtic fans are shocked at the timing of the decision, with many Hoops fans hoping Rodgers would at least see out the season to try and win a historic treble. But Rodgers made up his mind, despite the fact that there are under three months to go until the end of the season.
