KARACHI: Sindh Rangers on Monday claimed to have apprehended two alleged criminals, including a political party activist, from different areas of the metropolis. According to a statement issued by a Rangers spokesman, a Rangers team carried out a targeted raid in Zaman town area after receiving a tipoff and detained an activist Muhammad Haseeb belonging to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement- London (MQM-L) and being allegedly involved in several criminal activities in the city. Separately, the Rangers arrested drug peddler Rafiq Jan from Gulshan-e-Maymar. The Rangers also claimed to have recovered weapons and drugs from the detainees’ possession. The accused will be handed over to police for further investigation.
