Shehzad alias Muhammad Azeem involved in heinous crimes including target killing, extortion: statementKARACHI : Sindh Rangers claimed on Saturday to have apprehended a “most wanted” gang war criminal in an intelligence-based raid carried out in Karachi’s Lyari area. According to a spokesperson of the paramilitary force, Rangers’ intelligence team carried out a targeted raid in Ali Muhammad Mohalla and arrested the accused affiliated with Lyari gang war Ghaffar Zikri group. The arrested accused Shehzad alias Muhammad Azeem is said to be involved in heinous crimes including target killing, attacks on law enforcement agencies and extortion. The Rangers spokesperson said 25 cases were registered against the accused in Baghdadi police station. The government had fixed head money of Rs300,000 on the arrest of the accused, he added.
