Ranga also withdrew his remark through a press statement issued on Tuesday, saying it had hurt the sentiments of Noor family. On Monday, a legal notice was sent to Jatiya Party leader Mashiur Rahman Ranga for his comment on Noor Hossain by Supreme Court lawyer ZI Khan Panna. On Sunday, Ranga claimed that Shaheed Noor Hossain was addicted to drugs like yaba and phensedyl at a discussion organized by his party marking "Democracy Day." Later on Monday, Noor’s mother Morium Bibi said she will take legal action against Ranga for his ill remarks about her son.
