We’re happy to announce that Randy Lemmerman, a former editor in Paris at The International Herald Tribune and The International New York Times, is rejoining The Times as a senior staff editor in the Washington bureau. Randy comes to us from Politico in Washington, where he was night editor for the previous six-plus years. He started his career in journalism as an assistant editor at Newsday and joined The Times a few years later as a staff editor in Metro. and as news editor at The International New York Times. Before his journalism career, Randy was an insurance fraud investigator for a private firm in Southern California.
