And then it was reported that Farhan Akhtar was working on the script of the film again. He has previously produced, wrote and directed the first two installments of Don, both of which featured Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles. And if rumours are to be trusted, Ranbir Kapoor might just replace Shahrukh in Don 3. The film will be directed by Rajkumar and produced under the banner of Red Chillies. Ranbir has worked with Hirani in 2018-released Sanju, which turned out to be one of the highest-grossers of the year.
