Ramsbottom United Tigers U10s are heading to St George’s Park in Burton-on-Trent, the base of all 23 England international football sides, to play in the 3v3 UK finals on August 31, taking on opponents across the country. The tournament is aimed at younger players, who have just begun honing their skills, through a series of fast-paced eight-minute matches, which take place on small air pitches. Team coach Ryan Newell said: “I’m confident in the lads and am very proud of how far they’ve come. “I want to say a big thank you to the parents for their ongoing support and commitment. "Some travel more than 30 miles for training and matches which can take place up to three times a week during summer.”
