Los Angeles Rams offensive co-ordinator Matt LaFleur was the third to interview for the job. LaFleur, 38, is coming off his first season as offensive co-ordinator, though Rams coach Sean McVay called the plays. LaFleur was quarterbacks coach with Atlanta in 2015 and 2016, the year Matt Ryan was named NFL MVP and offensive player of the year. In four seasons with the Washington Redskins, LaFleur was quarterbacks coach and worked with Robert Griffin III. LaFleur started in the NFL as an offensive assistant with the HoustonHe started coaching at his alma mater Saginaw Valley State where he played quarterback.
