The Los Angeles Rams say defensive end Robert Quinn is in stable condition after checking himself into a hospital with an illness that is unrelated to football. At his weekly press conference on Monday, Rams coach Jeff Fisher said he had spoken to Quinn and had not ruled him out of the team’s next game. He added that it was unlikely his current condition was related to a pre-existing tumor. Fisher talked with Quinn, who said he just wants to get back as quickly as possible. Quinn, 26, underwent back surgery last December.
