They thronged the assembly to vent and 'avenge' the death of their colleague. His shop was locked up by the taskforce and in protest, Mr. Dake stood in front of the task force’s vehicle. Angry residents, witnessing the event vandalized property at the assembly and set fire to one of its vehicles whilst staff of the assembly fled to safety. The situation was later calmed by the Ho West District Police Command and peace has been restored, meanwhile police are still investigating, no arrests have been made yet.
