Ramasamy claims there's an attempt to silence Zakir Naik's critics

KUALA LUMPUR: Penang Deputy Chief Minister II Dr P Ramasamy today said there is an attempt to silence critics of controversial Muslim preacher Dr Zakir Naik. "They perceived my speech as if I want to create a whole new country or as if I am the supporter of LTTE. Ramasamy was summoned to Bukit Aman police headquarters today and was quizzed for more than three hours by the D5 Classified Criminal Investigation Unit. Meanwhile, on Zakir's lawsuit against him, Ramasamy said he would leave the matter to his lawyer. Why come to Malaysia and claims Indians are not loyal to the country?"
