Ramadan office hours 9am-3:30pm


The government has set office hours during the month of Ramadan from 9am to 3:30pm. The decision was taken at the regular cabinet meeting held Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair, UNB reports. After the meeting, Cabinet Secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam briefed reporters about the new office timing. He said there would be a 15-minute prayer break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm. This year the Ramadan will begin on May 27 and it will last 29 days, according to the prediction by a member of Saudi Arabia’s Council of Senior Scholars.
