THE Oluwo of Iwo, Oba AbduRasheed Akanbi spent better part of Thursday paying a surprise visits to family compounds where he identified with widows, the aged and the underprivileged in the town. Amidst applause, the traditional ruler moved from one compound to another freely distributing food items and money to his target beneficiaries. “I always smile because of what God is using me to do. That is why we have the social stratification whereby some occupy the top class and others at middle and low classes. We should, therefore, show the appreciation by identifying with those living below our class level,” he said.
