2 Panchkula DCP suspended following violence after Ram Rahim was held guilty. The Haryana government today sacked the Deputy Advocate General who accompanied Ram Rahim to court carrying his bag and suspended the DCP of Panchkula over yesterday's violence. An official order today said that IPS officer Ashok Kumar, DCP Panchkula, has been put under suspension with immediate effect. "As per Panchkula Control Room in Haryana, the situation in Panchkula and Sirsa is very tense but under control," a Union home ministry spokesperson said in Delhi. A senior police officer said in Sirsa that law and order situation is under control as there has been no report of violence since last night.
