Ralph Lauren, the longtime official outfitter of the U.S. Olympic team, took the wraps off Team USA’s 2018 closing ceremony uniforms on Wednesday, 100 days out from the start of the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, South Korea. As per usual, Olympic patches and badges, “Team USA” branding and the U.S. flag are sprinkled liberally throughout the uniform, and the Ralph Lauren label’s polo pony logo appears on the left breast of the down-filled, water-repellant jackets. Pieces from the Ralph Lauren Team USA collection will be available in December at select Ralph Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren retail stores as well as at ralphlauren.com and teamusashop.com. The 2018 Winter Olympic Games, which are set to kick off on Feb. 9, mark the sixth time Ralph Lauren has been the official outfitter of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic teams. adam.tschorn@latimes.comTwitter: @ARTschornALSORalph Lauren stages a high-octane, racing-themed fall 2017 fashion show in his Bedford garageThe Polo Ralph Lauren 2016 U.S. Olympic collection: Four things to think aboutIt's time to quit hating on those Sochi Olympics sweaters, America
