Voting for 27 Rajya Sabha seats were held in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Rajasthan and Haryana today. Briefcase 1 BJP won all 4 seats in Rajasthan. 2 BJP suffered a setback in Haryana. 3 P. Chidambaram won from Maharashtra, Kapil Sibal from Uttar Pradesh. While BJP bagged all 4 seats in Rajasthan, the Congress accused the saffron party of using money and muscle power to subvert the election process.
