Betel leaf farmers in Rajshahi rebound as strong market prices follow earlier severe weather-related losses. The largest betel leaf market in Rajshahi is held in Mochmoil of Bagmara upazila. It is worth noting that Rajshahi's betel leaf is widely popular across the country for its tradition, taste, and sweetness. Recognized as a Geographical Indication (GI) product, Rajshahi's betel leaf holds a special status. Rajshahi's betel leaf is also exported abroad.
