Union home minister Rajnath Singh came to visit a 'special' camp that was set up just before his visit. "We condemn the negligent attitude of the Centre towards the floods in Assam. Rajnath visited the state on Saturday. The Centre has failed to live up to their expectations," added Mahanta.The Union home minister did not announce any financial package for rehabilitating the homeless and rebuilding their damaged infrastructure. His attitude marked a sense of irresponsibility towards the affected people.
