CollectedThe film explores the story behind the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India which led to Omar’s arrestIndian biographical crime drama Omerta, starring Rajkummar Rao in the role of Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British terrorist of Pakistani descent, will be released on July 25. Marking his debut as a writer, Mukul Dev conceived the idea of the film and presented it to director Hansal Mehta. The drama explores the story behind the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India which led to Omar’s arrest. Also releasing in this month are Kaalchakra, Virgin Bhanupriya and Unlock. ZEE5 Global has also bagged rights for a set of blockbuster Hindi films including the Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi.
