Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje today asked officers to ensure all the works taken up under the second phase of Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan is completed before the arrival of monsoon so that rain water could be stored. Speaking on the fourth-day of Collectors-SPs conference here, she suggested that works should be taken up in two shifts in order to complete it in the given timeframe. The chief minister also asked the officers to encourage local youths, students, NCC cadets, religious and social organisations to contribute in the campaign. Chief secretary, additional chief secretaries, principal secretaries, secretaries, district collectors, DGP also announced to donate one-day salary for the campaign. All the personnel of the departments of police, panchayti raj and forest department will also give one-day salary.
