RR restricted KXIP to 143/7 having posted 158/8 after winning the toss and opting to bat. Earlier, Jos Buttler scored a 58-ball 82 to give RR a bright start, but KXIP bowlers managed to keep the run rate low with Mujeeb Ur Rahman’s 2/21 and Andrew Tye’s 4/34 preventing the hosts from getting to a big total.
