Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje gives in to pressure, refers gag bill to select committee


In a latest development, Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje has decided to send the infamous gag ordinance to a select commmittee in the Rajasthan Assembly. Gulab Chand Kataria, Rajasthan's home minister hinted towards the bill being sent to a select committee last night. The bill is not withdrawn as of now, as the Rajasthan assembly was adjourned yesterday. Sachin Pilot, Rajasthan PCC Chief, speaking about the bill being sent to a select committee said, "Select Committee will decide whether the Bill will be withdrawn or not.
