Pictures by Snehal SenguptaRajarhat: A new police station in Narayanpur, on the outskirts of Rajarhat, is likely to be inaugurated next month. The NSCBI Airport police station is in charge of the airport vicinity while the Airport police station covers around 22sq km, including places like Kaikhali, Arjunpur and Mongal Ganthi among others. "The building as well as the personnel who will man the police station are ready," Amit P. Javalgi, deputy commissioner, headquarters, Bidhannagar commissionerate, said. The police station is the first of four new ones coming up in the commissionerate area. "More people are buying property in this area and a police station would mean cops serving us better."
