JOHOR BARU: Johor Permaisuri Raja Zarith Sofiah Sultan Idris Shah (pic) has urged the people to be more aware of the activities of young people, regardless of their religion and race. Raja Zarith said that everyone has a role to play in monitoring the activities of young people following the incident where eight teenaged cyclists were killed in a tragic accident. "It is our duty to guide them and it is our responsibility to address them whenever they have done something wrong," she said. Raja Zarith, who is also Universiti Teknologi Malaysia chancellor, said this in her speech during the university's 58th convocation ceremony held at its Skudai campus here on Saturday. She added that young people should refrain from being involved in unhealthy activities that can affect not only themselves but also their families and friends.
