NEW DELHI: Fugitive underworld don Dawood Ibrahim wants to return to India and is currently negotiating a settlement with the BJP-led government at the Centre, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray claimed on Thursday.The MNS chief was speaking at the launch of his official Facebook page.Raj Thackeray claimed that Dawood is very ill and crippled, and wants to spend his last days in India.Alleging that both Dawood and the government are engaged in talks to make this happen, Thackeray claimed that the ruling party will exploit the don's return to India politically to get votes. According to him, the BJP will wrongly take credit for "managing to bring the absconder don to India" before the elections.The MNS chief also spoke out against the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train , calling it a waste of money. He claimed that the train will not benefit Maharashtra at all.
