The same was forecast for a few places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Khulna, and Barisal divisions with moderately heavy to heavy rainfalls at places over the country, said a weather bulletin. The bulletin said the axis of monsoon trough was running through Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal to Assam across the central part of Bangladesh. Monsoon is fairly active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over the North Bay, it added. Day and night temperatures may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
