No reprieve from the unsettled weather is in sight yet, with current indications pointing to rain and showers continuing into Friday. A band of showers across Connacht and Munster will turn heavy at times, with thunderstorms possible. Sunny spells and scattered showers will follow from the west throughout the country later on Sunday afternoon, with highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees. Monday will be a wet and blustery day overall with scattered showers drifting over the country in a fresh westerly breeze. Looking ahead to the rest of next week current indications would suggest it will remain unsettled through Thursday and into Friday with spells of rain or showers at times.
