NewsSeveral railway trade unions have launched a sudden two-hour strike this afternoon (26). The strike has been launched over a dispute regarding Railway Department land. Trade unions representing drivers, guards and station masters are involved in the strike. Railway services have already been affected. With more commuters due to depart home for the long weekend, there are fears that the strike may cause severe disruptions to train services by evening.
