During his speech at the conference, Fikry urged attendees to reflect on neighboring countries in the Arab world that were once lucrative destinations for Egyptian labor, such as Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon. Fikry emphasized that Egypt, under the wise leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, has been protected and reclaimed from the grasp of menacing terrorist groups.
