Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition's Presidential Candidate Raila Odinga's team on Sunday, May 1 announced interviews for aspirants eyeing to become his running mate in the August 9, General Election. According to a statement issued by the Running Mate Selection Panel Secretary, Elizabeth Meyo, the interviews will be held between May 4 and May 10. "We wish to inform Kenyans that the process of vetting and eventual selection of the most qualified candidate has commenced. FileAll eminent Kenyans being considered for this important position of service will be meeting the selection panel on various days between May 4 and 10," read the statement in part. Former Gatanga Member of Parliament Peter Kenneth and Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Peter Munya are also considered prospective contenders for the position.
