Raila launches public website for signature collection

Opposition chief Raila Odinga has launched a public website for the collection of 10 million signatures in his push to remove President William Ruto from office. The Azimio coalition is seeking to raise signatures from Kenyans as part of getting public support in their aggressive campaign against the Kenya Kwanza administration. On Tuesday, Raila led top Azimio luminaries to launch what they have described as an initiative to seek support from Kenyans for good governance on the website— www.tumechoka.com. However, the constitution does not recognise the collection of signatures as a way of removal of a President from office. Leaders attending the launch and signing of the petitions include Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Narc Kenya boss Martha Karua, DAP- K boss Eugene Wamalwa and former Murang'a governor Mwangi Wa Iria.
