Opposition Chief Raila Odinga on Monday shared a meal with Nairobi MCAs at a hotel in Nairobi CBD. This was the first time in many months that Raila was seen in CBD walking peacefully without police interruptions. While enjoying his meal, Raila appeared to be interacting with the leaders and members of the public who were at the restaurant. This comes a few days after he asked Kenyans to carpool, walk or use public service vehicles to work due to the high cost of living. He said the sum effect of this move was to limit the consumption of petrol and diesel by public service vehicles.
