Azimio leader Raila Odinga has apologised to the media after journalists were roughed up by goons at his function held at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Foundation (JOOF) offices. During the incident leaders from other parties allied to Azimio were also roughed up by the rowdy youths. Raila in a statement on Thursday morning assured journalists and leaders caught up in the unfortunate incident that his party will take action on the perpetrators. On Wednesday, rowdy youths disrupted an Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya presser after leaders disagreed on President William Ruto's deal. "Nobody disrespects Raila when we are alive, no press conference here," the youths shouted as they turned chairs upside down.
