Allies of ODM leader Raila Odinga have said they cannot rule out working with Deputy President, signalling what could be a political earthquake ahead of 2022. Ruto for the first time praised Raila's credentials, saying he is the only politician who had managed to build a national party just like Jubilee. While praising ODM for being a national party, Ruto said apart from himself, only Raila can bring together the largest number of MPs. The Pentagon comprised Raila, Ruto, Musalia, Tourism CS Najib Balala and former Cabinet Minister Joe Nyaga, now deceased. Ruto went on, "If they will succeed in demolishing Jubilee, we shall use our minds that we used to build Jubilee into national party to build UDA into a national party and the journey will continue."
