Azimio leader Raila Odinga has claimed that the government planned the mass killing of Azimio supporters and mainly members of the Luo community. Raila said the government and its top leaders were responsible for the murder of tens of Azimio supporters during street protests in the guise of protecting property. Raila wondered why President William Ruto had lauded the police for doing a 'commendable' job to protect the property of Kenyans when tens of people were allegedly murdered. This is basically planned wanton killing of our people," Raila said. Raila lamented that the government was allegedly profiling the Luo community and extinguishing it to perpetuate Ruto's rule.
