The functionaries of various Kannada outfits staged a rail roko agitation at railway station here amid heavy police bandobast condemning Supreme Court order to release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. However, train services were not affected as the protest was held for only few minutes. Responding to a call for state-wide rail roko agitation, the protesters stopped Kolar-Bangarpet passenger train for sometime to register their anger. The police and railway police have been deployed in large number at the station to avoid any untoward incident. Kannada Sene district president Venkatappa, vice president K.
