Train communications of Sylhet with Dhaka and Chittagong have been restored after two hours of suspension following derailment of a train near to Bhatera Railway Station in Kulaura upazila in Moulvibazar. Erfanul Haq, Senior Deputy Assistant Engineer of Bangladesh Railway at Kulaura, said wheels of a compartment of a Chittagong-bound Jalalabad Express from Sylhet veered off the tracks around 9:45am on Thursday, halting train movement on the Sylhet-Chittagong and Sylhet-Dhaka routes. Later, the train services on the two routes resumed after a relief train salvaged the compartment around 11:45am, he added.
