Pornprom SatrabhayaThe Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has seized about 1,000 items -- jelly sweets, cosmetics and vape oil -- worth about 10 million baht suspected to contain cannabis compounds from an online vendor in Chiang Mai province. Some of the items were labelled as containing cannabidiol (CBD), another natural compound found in cannabis and hemp. Dr Paisarn said the house raids were conducted by officials from the FDA and the provincial public health office. Dr Paisarn warned the products could be a health hazard as there was no telling how much cannabis compounds were present in the contents.
