It was also reported that the three SC-appointed BCCI representatives for the ICC meetings would not be allowed to participate without a proper sanction from COA chairman Vinod Rai Sources said Choudhary and Chaudhary will offer all possible help to the BCCI representatives of the ICC. We are hopeful that the BCCI representatives would do a good job of it," a source close to the development told TOI on Tuesday.Sources said that since the apex court has directed the COA to discharge duties along with BCCI CEO Johri, Rai is only going by the books. Which means, he would only deal with the CEO for day-to-day affairs of the board. "There is no effort from the COA to undermine the BCCI office-bearers. Since the Supreme Court hasn't commented on their future roles right now, and the COA is the main decision making body, the board officials would have to take the back seat," the source added.
