(PTI)Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday tendered an unconditional apology in the Supreme Court for wrongfully attributing to the apex court the 'chowkidar chor hai' remark in the Rafale verdict. ”The deponent (Rahul Gandhi) unconditionally apologises for the wrongful attributions to this court. The deponent further states that any such attributions were entirely unintentional, non-wilful and inadvertent,” Rahul said in his affidavit. Meenakshi Lekhi, BJP lawmaker, who filed the contempt petition against Rahul, had alleged that he has attributed his personal remarks to the top court and tried to create prejudice.
