Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi has arrived in Gorakhpur in connection with the deaths of children in the BRD medical college hospital where the toll has gone up to 72 since August 7. Six encephalitis-related deaths were reported between August 12 and August 14, while five encephalitis-related deaths were reported from August 15 to August 16. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also on a one day visit to Gorakhpur to inaugurate 'Swachch Uttar Pradesh - Swasthya Uttar Pradesh campaign' which will be carried out between August 20-25 in all the districts.
