Kunal and his associate, identified as Bhrigu Kumar, got down of the car and allegedly thrashed Pintu. The locals admitted Pintu, who was bleeding profusely, to the Daudnagar primary health centre from where he was referred to PMCH. The Daudnagar police on Saturday produced Kunal before a local court, which remanded him to judicial custody for two weeks. Aurangabad superintendent of police (SP) Satyaprakash, however, said the incident was a result of an old rivalry and not road rage. <> Aurangabad sub-divisional police officer Sanjay Kumar said an FIR has been lodged with the Daudnagar police station on the statement of Pintu's father.
