Nadal is once again on the sidelines after suffering a recurrence of the hip problem which forced him to retire at the Australian Open in January. The 31-year-old was forced to withdraw from this month’s Masters 1000 doubleheader in Indian Wells and Miami. And he is aiming for a return in April at the Monte Carlo Masters, where he has won a record 10 times. Injury has plagued Nadal over his career and his doctor Angel Ruiz Cotorro has told Spanish outlet El Espanol that the 16-time Grand Slam champion needs to do the bare minimum to ensure recovery.
